Priority Primary Care Centre keeps locals out of hospital NWMPHN
4 April 2023 NWMPHN. A priority primary care centre (PPCC) is now operating in Richmond, allowing residents to receive urgent medical treatment without having to risk waiting hours in a hospital emergency department. The PPCC is at 283 Church St and open Monday to Friday from 6pm to 10pm, and weekends between 10am and 4pm.. Check your local centre for operating times. The Victorian Government has established 29 Priority Primary Care Centres across the state. Priority Primary Care Centres partner with nearby hospital emergency departments. They provide free care for people with conditions that require urgent attention but not an emergency response.
